Callum joined the Molecular Engineering group as part of the CDT in computational methods for materials science. He completed both his MPhil and PhD within the group. His research was focused on using large scale data mining and machine learning to perform materials prediction, with particular focus on predicting magnetic materials and magnetic properties.
Previously, he gained his MPhys degree in Physics from Cardiff University. His final year research project looked at simulating the dynamics of coupled qubit-resonator systems made from boron-doped diamond.
