Dingyun "Jack" Huang
Dingyun is a first year PhD student focusing on materials discovery for optoelectronic applications with the aid of data mining and machine learning. ChemDataExtractor, a chemistry-aware text mining tool, will be used to auto-generate databases from literature.
Dingyun completed his MSci degree in physics at the University of Cambridge. His final year project focused on developing an automated algorithm to detect heterostructures in lead halide perovskite solar cells according to diffraction patterns.
