Mostafa is joining the group as a visiting PhD student, and he is based at STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory for his studies. He is a PhD student at South Valley University in Egypt and he has a joint supervision scholarship for two years. His project aims to understand how the dye...TiO2 interface of a working electrode in a DSC functions at the molecular level. Mostafa received his MSc degree in physics from South Valley University. During his research he studied the structure of amorphous materials by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) using pair distribution function (PDF) analysis and Reverse Monte Carlo (RMC) simulations.
