Odysseas joins the Molecular Engineering group as an MPhil student in Scientific Computing. He is keen to employ machine learning, data-mining, and natural language processing towards material science applications. He will be working with the ChemDataExtractor toolkit and its auto-generated material databases.
Odysseas has gained his BSc in Theoretical Physics from the University of Glasgow. His undergraduate project focused on the study of freely accelerating optical Airy beams, using numerical methods and computational modelling.
